Position Overview: The Company is seeking a seasoned and hands-on Group Head of Facilities to direct the running of their facilities and create a safe and efficient work environment that improves business performance and optimizes staff productivity.
Major Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient operation of facilities, mitigate risk, and ensure that facilities meet the needs of clients and staff.
- Optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs.
- Prepare facilities budgets and monitor expenditure.
- Design and plan facilities Layout.
- Regular inspection of buildings’ structures for repairs or renovations.
- Monitor cleanliness, gardening, space allocation through his team in concerned unit.
- Update all insurance plans and service contracts.
- Implement policies and safety procedures to minimize hazards.
- Engage with vendors, contractors, and negotiate agreements.
- Ensure compliance with country laws.
- Plan and ensure required training for all facilities & maintenance staffs.
Requirements And Skills:
- Proven experience in a leadership role as Head of Facilities or relevant position.
- Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Good analytical/critical thinking.
- Broad knowledge of business functions and project management experience.
- Responsible for all maintenance of the premises.
