Job Description
Nithya Paper and Boards Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka’s leading producer of recycled corrugated paper, is looking for a committed Compliance Manager to join our team. You will be crucial in upholding environmental responsibility, ethical business conduct, and regulatory compliance.
About the Role:
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance programs
- Identify and address compliance risks in environmental regulations, data privacy, and industry standards
- Conduct regular audits to ensure legal compliance
- Work collaboratively across departments for seamless compliance
- Stay informed about evolving regulations and best practices
- Deliver compliance training to employees
Requirements:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Law, Environmental Science, or related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in compliance, preferably in manufacturing
- Familiarity with environmental regulations, data privacy laws, Sri Lankan legislation, and FSC audits
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record in compliance program management
- Effective communication and training abilities
