Job Description
We are hiring for the position of Senior Buyer at InTalent Asia.
- Working hours: Weekdays 8.30 AM – 5.30 PM / Saturday 8.30 AM – 1.30 PM (during seasonal period and as required)
- Working days: Monday to Friday and Saturday during seasonal times
- Working method: On-site
- Job location: Battaramulla
Responsibilities:
- Analyze product trends and select appropriate ranges
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate, and source new suppliers
- Review performance indicators, manage stock levels, and oversee purchasing activities
- Collaborate with Design/Development teams for new product sourcing
- Implement buying practices for business improvement
- Visit locations for store feedback and product display
- Enhance existing product lines
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Buying or merchandising experience
- Good Communication Skills
- Strong numerical and data analysis abilities
- Academic/Professional Qualifications in Buying
- Preference for candidates from Colombo and suburbs
- Experience in lingerie/nightwear/maternity wear is a plus
