Job Description
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 2+ years of overall experience in test automation using Cypress and JavaScript.
- Excellent understanding of object-oriented concepts and programming.
- Exposure to Git/Bitbucket for version control and code collaboration.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test automation strategies and frameworks for large complex applications.
- Hands-on experience in writing, executing and maintaining end-to-end tests using Cypress and JavaScript.
- Work with AWS/Azure services to configure and manage test environments.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
- Good understanding of manual test cases and planning the process.
- Responsible for defining the scope and objectives of a given automation project.
- Contribute to team agile planning activities, backlog prioritization, and management.
- Identify, verify, report, and retest bugs.
- Mentor and manage the junior QA’s resources on delivery and career expectations.
