Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time role as an Accountant (US/Europe Time) in Kohuwala. The Candidate will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks such as bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
This role will also involve analyzing financial data and providing reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Must have 4 to 5 years of Experience with general ledger functions.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with international accounting standards (IFRS) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Salary: 100,00 – 130,00 LKR
Work Time: (European – 12PM – 10.00 PM
US – 18.30 PM – 04.30 AM).
Please note that this is an on-site role located in Colombo.
