Job Description
Responsibilities
1. Supervise Construction Activities: Direct and oversee construction activities at job sites, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
2. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of construction workers and subcontractors, including assigning tasks, providing training, and evaluating performance.
3. Quality Control: Monitor work progress and quality, conducting regular inspections to ensure that construction meets quality standards and specifications.
4. Schedule Management: Coordinate work schedules, materials delivery, and subcontractor activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
5. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all workers and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Related Degree or Diploma
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction supervision or a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects.
- Thorough understanding of construction methods, techniques, and materials, as well as building codes and regulations.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
