Job Description
Janathakshan (GTE) Ltd. (www.janathakshan.lk) is a local organization established in 2011. We are renowned for promoting green technologies and contributing to sustainable development.
This position will serve as the Communications Executive, supporting Manager Marketing with
Communication of projects, organizational proposal development, fundraising marketing,
communications, digital, and social media outreach to increase the visibility of Janathakshan.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the project team to execute the communication strategies and plans.
- Conduct project assessments, develop and produce communication and advocacy instruments and materials.
- Promote communications and project marketing materials through social media.
- Maintain digital media archives.
- Support project events by developing communication material
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, media relations, journalism, or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in public relations or communications.
- Excellent oral and written English, business communication skills.
- Strong social media engagement and ability to work independently.
