Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fabric Sourcing Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness of fabrics used in our apparel manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Implement superior purchasing practices for yarn, fabric, and other raw materials from local and overseas vendors.
- Maintaining a fabric and other raw material library.
- Ensure smooth material flow, on-time delivery, and cost-effective pricing.
- Manage shipment records and reconciliation.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and fabric suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Textile/Fabric Technology, or Material Management.
- Minimum 3 years of fabric sourcing experience.
- Sound knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garments.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective time management.
