Role Description: This full-time, on-site position involves overseeing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting at Mind Plus in Colombo. The Finance Manager will also be involved in financial planning, risk management, and compliance, collaborating with various departments to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Qualified in either CA/ACCA/CIMA/CMA with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Finance & Accounting with a minimum of 4 years experience in a similar capacity.
- Minimum 8-15 years of relevant work experience in Accounting & Operational Finance.
- Preferred interpersonal skills – Financial acumen, Communication, Negotiations, Presentations, Fast learner, Team Player.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and coordinating the efficient functioning of day-to-day finance activities.
- Managing the annual audit process for all investment entities under office corporate purview.
- Supervising all aspects of cash flow, forecasting cash requirements, and optimizing investment levels.
- Liaising with shared services for timely collections and invoice recording.
- Ensuring asset verifications and maintaining effective internal control systems.
- Proficient in MS-Office packages with competency in Microsoft Excel.
