Job Description
Fabric & trim development – Assisting the senior merchandiser in sample coordination and tracking.
Processing & following up on FIT samples/ Red Seals/ etc for confirmed orders and obtaining approvals based on Critical Path drop dates.
Coordinating and expediting the development, completion, and dispatch of all development, fit, and marketing samples with a proactive approach to meet requirements.
Negotiating prices and finalizing deals with customers through effective cost engineering to meet business objectives.
Initiating raw material sourcing and negotiations to optimize benefits and secure orders.
Monitoring supplier approval of raw materials for timely sample execution.
Communicating with the manufacturing unit for procurement of bulk fabric and trims.
