Job Description
Install, configure, and maintain SQL database servers
Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies
Monitor database performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks and other issues
Create and maintain documentation for database installation, configuration, and maintenance procedures
Develop and maintain scripts to automate database tasks and improve efficiency
Work with development teams to optimize database schema and queries
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure database server availability and performance
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in database administration
