Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to join our growing team. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive accounting support for our international entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries for international subsidiaries, adhering to local GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Process various accounting functions, including accruals, prepayments, bank reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and more.
- Assist with VAT returns, international payroll, balance sheet reconciliation, and more.
- Conduct global payroll reconciliations and monthly reviews.
- Support audits, financial statement preparation, and process improvement.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified in CMA/CA/ACCA/CIMA or a Finance/Accounting degree.
- 5-10 years in general ledger accounting with US company experience preferred.
- Excellent English communication, understanding of international accounting standards, and strong Excel skills.
- Experience with Sage Intacct and Floqast is a plus, based in Sri Lanka.
