Job Description
As a Wheel Alignment Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles’ wheels are properly aligned to manufacturer specifications. Using specialized equipment, you will adjust and align wheels to contribute to safe driving conditions and optimal vehicle performance.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize computerized wheel alignment equipment to measure and adjust wheel angles according to vehicle specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections of suspension systems, steering components, and tires to identify alignment issues.
- Analyze alignment readings and vehicle symptoms to diagnose issues accurately.
- Make necessary adjustments to suspension and steering components for proper alignment.
- Perform maintenance on alignment equipment for accuracy and reliability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a wheel alignment technician preferred.
- Proficient in using computerized alignment equipment.
- Strong knowledge of suspension systems, steering components, and alignment principles.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
