Job Description
We are looking for a talented and motivated ACCOUNTANT to join one of the leading GI Galvanized Pipes manufacturing and distribution industry in Sri Lanka.
Responsibility:
- You will play a critical role in supporting the company’s financial health and success.
- You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements)
- Managing accounts payables and receivables.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Cost accounting and analysis.
- Liaising with external auditors.
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to the Seniors.
Requirement:
- Around 3 years’ experience as an Assistant Accountant or Senior Accounts Executive at a Manufacturing or Distribution environment is required.
- A recognized professional accounting qualification or a degree in relevant field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Tally / SAP)
- Should possess leadership quality with a high level of integrity and dependability, strong sense of urgency, and be results-oriented.
- Should be willing to work on Saturdays.
