Our customers include Libraries, Universities, Higher Education Institutes, Ministries, and Departments. We work with renowned publishers such as Pearson, Taylor & Francis, Springer, Human Kinetics, Harper Collins, and others. As a company, we also participate in global book fairs such as the Frankfurt Book Fair and represent the London Book Fair, Book Expo America, and London Book Fair.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Associate at our Colombo location. The Sales Associate will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, including promoting and selling academic textbooks to various customers such as libraries, universities, and ministries. The Sales Associate will also assist in managing customer relationships, processing orders, and coordinating shipments.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of academic textbooks and the publishing industry
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior sales experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
